After watching the first episode of the cynical bastards, I have been inspired to do some digging, in order to prove one of their statements wrong about where the term "Zero Point Energy" came from.

Here are excerpts from each link, describing the origin of ZPE and what it is:

"Nikola was the first to coin the phrase Zero-Point Energies, when attempting to explain, mathematically, his electro-static successes. The first episode of the cynical bastards states that the term for ZPE came from a mere film, (albeit a very good film) titled "Stargate", which, according to the information furnished above is obviously incorrect... So there! :P

 And well taken....... truth is for us at the time of that filming, we were more concerned about The idea of ZPE... and it being a free power source tech. that apparently has been around for years..... yet we don't see it in use... Instead, we all have to pay a sizable portion of our earned monies to have this thing that makes our life supposedly better...!

 Now, if you really want to get picky..... it was actually the "first show" that was about ZPE...... :P

And just what exactly is "space time" ? Is it just an arbitrary theory based on the limited observation of partially trained humans who call themselves 'scientists' or is it an actual 'dimension' or 'state' that can be measured on its own without numerous clever mathematical relationships formulated to 'prove' its existence?

We'd do well to stop giving credence to 'sciences' and philosophies that approach reality consistently from narrow scopes and after-the-fact dissections of life and the living energies of the universe.

I think these guys are all in it for money, fame, and glory, and could care less if there ever is/was or will be 'free' energy.

I can look up, see the sky, feel the wind, and if I am really observant, and conscious enough I can participate in their dance. Why should I want to take that all apart so I can figure out how it works, all the better to build a 'better reality' one that I can make a profit from?

Bah. These scientific 'experts' are all blind men leading the blind. At great effort and expense I might add.

You want free energy, stop trying to steal it from nature and see what happens!

Agreed. It's a ruling-class control-freak issue. They don't want to lose control over everything, including the resources, which they love to horde selfishly while dishing out bit by bit to the little sheeple and using as a control device at the same time.

There are those that would argue that it is an economic issue, as the Lone Gunmen concluded (much to my disappointment) about the water-engine in one of the episodes of their short-run series. I thought that was a major cop-out and i think its the same with anyone who makes the same conclusion about ZPE.

As long as humans are "little people" beneath an extremely wealthier and more powerful ruling-class they will continue to be enslaved by the "economic" excuses that the ruling-class uses for not letting them use ZPE,  water engines, or cannabis, etc... But the whole truth is that they themselves, being "above the law" can pretty much do just about any of these things without having to worry, so long as they are "above the law".

The military probably uses ZPE, multi-millionaires and billionaires with large estates and state-of-the-art high-tek security may have secret access to it, kings and queens may have access, etc... but little sheeple can't have such things because they have been born into poverty and the lower or middle-class and they are entrapped by dependence upon an economy which is controlled by a wealthy ruling-class that wants to horde the resources and keep all the sheeple under control and in their place.
