Ancient Tech revealed

--- Quote from: Valadras on May 17, 2012, 08:48:12 AM ---Well, as I understand it, wasn't the Arc of the Covenant the box that held the tablets where Moses wrote the commandments down? Yet, if what the video says is true and the arc was really an integral part of a power source, it would kinda explain why the pharoah chased the Israelites. I've heard rumors for years that ancient egypt and even sumeria before that had some rudimentary forms of eletricity, so that's not really news per se, but imagining the great pyramid as the power plant for the egyptian nation is pretty mind blowing. Makes a lot of sense about how they built the pyramids without "modern" construction machinery, too!
But wasn't this the same civilization who based their culture on the reality of this life being only a preparation for a spiritual journey ahead? The ones who spent their entire lives getting ready for the afterlife? Makes me wonder what else they knew about that we've forgotten...

Well, the idea that the ancient Ruling Pharoahs and their pyramidal system of slaves and overseers of slaves had access to and use of such tech as is posited here is a misdirection of several truths.

If they had such technology, the people weren't let in on it. If they had it they used it to further their power and stature as 'gods.' -That theory I can subscribe to.

The idea that the Arc of the Covenant was stolen by the Hebrews in Exodus, while plausible, just seems to have way too many holes in it.  It is an intriguing concept, and I would like to see other sources on this subject before I would even begin to give it credibility.

With what I know about the origins of the Royals and Rulers, the attempt to put forth the idea that the ancient egyptian people were 'advanced' technologically seems a bit like an end run around the truth to support modern scientific theory and a seemingly deliberate ignorance about the dynamics of the culture. -As if the technology was somehow a good thing.

Maybe the Arc of the Covenant was stolen from the Adamic civilization that was eventually conquered and assimilated by the Nephalim, and Moses just stole it back!

I'd rather believe that, and since there is as much actual evidence to support that theory as this one, maybe even more for me personally, I'm gonna maintain that posture until further, more verifiable evidence is forthcoming.

I should totally re-write this story with a modern day environment. I bet it would be a blockbuster!  :)

But I welcome collaboration. And this is just the first book.

I should have realized you were already warming up the warp engines, Number One!

How intriguing... I've heard--I haven't actually read it myself--that when the Hebrews were carrying the Ark they had to be careful not to physically touch it or they would be electrocuted... or something similar would occur.

But hearsay today...                                          Deaf mute tomorrow...
